My mission is to make yoga accessible, inclusive, and empowering for all to practice. offering community based classes where individuals can connect with themselves and others, yoga for all bodies and shapes, through mindful and intentional movement, breath, and stillness, we foster physical and mental wellbeing, but also a sense of belonging and shared humanity.
Welcome to Garwai Yoga
My name is Gail. I am qualified yoga teacher since 2021, teaching in Loughborough in-person and online, I have been practicing Yoga for 25 years, where I was first introduced to Jivamukti Yoga, I found its spiritual teachings resonated with me and has been a profound affect on who I am today.
I worked in a corporate setting for over 15 years and know very well the daily grind of work, health and daily pressures can affect us profoundly especially on the nervous system, through the study of yoga therapy and Trauma informed practices. We can train our minds to relax and bodies to feel safe again
My offerings are to allow you to feel empowered in an inclusive space, you do not have to be super flexible to practice yoga. The classes I teach are inclusive and adaptable to each student and free of judgement. I am a big fan of props for support, feeling safe and supported is so important in our own bodies.
Everybody's yoga is different and learning what works for you is not linear, yoga need not look a certain way to fully embody it.
My deep interests are helping people using the tools of yoga to help people who live with long term physical limitations, using yoga to help ease the stress and anxiety. The tools of yoga and its teachings are profound and life changing and help us along the way to navigate life in an easier way.
I am a strong believer in creating long term sustainable habits for living better, by incorporating healthy eating into our daily lives, moving how body was designed to move with ease without imbalances and instability.

Yoga Classes
I teach both in-person and online chair flow classes currently, these classes are gentle and nurturing, to meet you whenever you want to take your practice
All new students are required to fill out a health form before starting yoga. This can be accessed via my classes page on my website.
All online yoga classes are for people that have some experience of yoga, this is not suitable for complete beginners due to the nature of being online.
In-person classes are designed around beginners and people who like to sustain a heathy active lifestyle, that maybe have mobility issues that prevent them from doing a more intense practice. This class is very gentle with a slow flow style to it, with some breathwork and relaxation.
